About Alicia Zink

My CrossFit journey began not too long after having my third and last daughter. I was seeking not only to shed post pregnancy weight but an environment that was engaging and supportive that would keep me on track. After 5 years, I have found myself grow personally and as an athlete in ways that I could never have imagined. In recent years, I have taken my training to a more competitive level and last spring was a CrossFit 2021 Masters 45-49 Qualifier Athlete.

I was born in Nebraska and raised in New Jersey. I have a masters in social work from Columbia University and own a private practice providing individual, couples and family counseling: Navesink Counseling Associates. Working in the field of mental health, the importance of self-care, stress relief and building strong self confidence and self worth are clearly evident. I have found that CrossFit and the community it builds creates an environment that not only builds physical health and wellness but mental and emotional health as well.

The ability to push yourself past what you think you are capable of and achieve set goals allows for incredible self esteem and self confidence to be built and fostered. I have always been a mental and emotional coach, but am excited to now start my journey as a physical/fitness coach as well!
