Summer Strength & Conditioning Camp for Teens in Monmouth County

Our Teen Summer Strength Camp is a 3-week training program (or choose one of the weeks) designed for boys and girls entering, currently in, or just finishing high school. Whether your teen is preparing for their next sports season, in the middle of training, or just needs a structured way to stay active this summer, this camp provides expert coaching in:


  • Strength & Conditioning
  • Sport Specific Exercises (tailored to athlete’s needs)
  • Agility & Coordination
  • Confidence & Body Awareness


Each week has a specific focus, helping teens build progressively while learning proper movement, training habits, and body awareness along the way.

$375 for full camp | $150 per week option
📍 Serving Monmouth County: Middletown, Hazlet, Holmdel, Keyport, Red Bank, and surrounding areas

No experience is necessary. Some teens come in already training hard. Others are brand new to strength work. Both are welcome here.

Our approach is rooted in fundamentals, safety, and personalized coaching. From CrossFit classes to barbell club and sports-specific training, our focus is on doing the basics really well and helping each individual reach their potential.

About Coach Gino


This camp is led by Coach Gino Salveo, co-owner and Head Coach at Salus, with close to 30 years of experience in the fitness industry, Gino has worked with athletes of all ages and levels, from beginners to competitive weightlifters and CrossFit athletes.


This isn’t just about “working out.” It’s about teaching kids how to move well, build confidence, and develop skills that carry over into sports, fitness, and everyday life.


As a parent myself, I also know summer can go one of two ways for teens:

They either stay active and build momentum… or they lose structure, confidence, conditioning, and routine.


That’s one of the biggest reasons we created this camp.


For the past 13 years, we’ve helped athletes and families throughout Monmouth County build strength both physically and mentally. I’ve personally been coaching and personal training for over 25 years, and one of the most rewarding parts of what we do is watching teens realize what they’re capable of.


Whether your teen is highly competitive, plays sports recreationally, or just needs a positive push this summer, we’ll meet them where they are and help them improve safely and confidently. Here's a little bit more about my background:


  • CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), the only U.S. body recognized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This ensures the CrossFit Certified Trainer (CCFT) meets strict, internationally recognized professional standards.
  • USA Weightlifting Advanced Performance Coach (Level 2 Certified)
  • Masters National Weightlifting Gold and Silver Medalist


Originally from New York, my love for sport started early, playing basketball and baseball as a teen, before shifting my focus to fitness and competitive cycling. I raced BMX, transitioned to mountain biking, and went on to compete in downhill racing and bike trials.

Camp Dates:

  • Week 1 (July 7, 8, 9): Foundation + Strength & Conditioning
  • Week 2 (July 14, 15, 16): Power Development + Strength & Conditioning
  • Week 3 (July 21, 22, 23): USAW Combine Week + Strength & Conditioning


Can’t Make the Camp?


We get it, summer schedules are busy. If your teen can’t attend all three weeks, we offer weekly sign-up options.


And if they can’t make it at all—we’ve still got you covered:
