"I joined Salus in February of 2022 with the goal of getting as fit as possible. A couple months into training I overhead some members talking about how nutrition with Angela was improving their performance. Shortly after I booked a free consultation which further lead to weekly programming for the next 6 months. Nutrition was never a strong point for me, but I knew it was something I’d have to work on if I wanted to be a competitor.
Here is the progression I made in 6 months.
- April 2022 (pre nutrition) : 173lbs, 10.85% body fat, 154lbs lean body mass
- July 2022 (3 months in) : 169lbs, 8.93% body fat, 154lbs lean body mass
- September 2022 (5 months in) : 172.2lbs, 8.09% body fat, 158lbs lean body mass
- October 2022 (6 months in) : 174.6lbs, 7.78% body fat, 161lbs lean body mass
6 month result: +7lbs of muscle, -5lbs of fat
Honestly, before joining Salus I had my doubts and questioned how CrossFit athletes were so strong and looked so good. Half a year later my doubts have been silenced. The combination of CrossFit and nutrition has without a doubt given me the best results in my 9 years of training. Looking forward to seeing how much progress I could make in the next 10 years w/ the Salus team behind me."
