Salus Barbell Club is a USAW & USAPL Sanctioned Barbell Club

Weightlifting should not be confused with powerlifting, bodybuilding, or general weight training.

Weightlifting consists of two events; the snatch and the clean-and-jerk.

Powerlifting consists of three events: back squat, deadlift and bench press.

Train with a USAW or USPA Certified Coach

We have both USAW and USAPL Certified Coaches on staff. Train one-on-one or have a remote weightlifting or powerlifting program designed for your specific goals that you can implement on your own.

Whether you’re new to the lifts, fine tuning your skills for CrossFit, training for a meet, or developing your athletic capacity for another sport, our weightlifting coaches can help you reach your goals!
